Though he was never formally trained in drawing or painting he has a deft touch with a brush and a keen sense of light. His colour choice is vibrant and transports the viewer to an almost dreamlike place. The subtlety of shade and depth in his art shinesthrough his boldly otherworldly skies while his animals glisten with eyes that follow your every move. Bruce's love for painting flora and fauna springs from his camping and canoeing days in Ontario. He now resides in the Collingwood area which allows him to express his love of nature through his acrylic paintings
